Why We Built This

Homestead is a passion project built from the creativity of Tokimi and the CozyStudios team. Over 5-6 months in the making, it is the result of hundreds of hours, thousands of dollars, and lots of coffee and tea.

Whether you are here to build, explore, automate, or simply unwind, we hope you enjoy Homestead as much as we do. There is lots to do, lots of fun things to explore, and just an overall good time.

187 dishes you can cook. Till your fields, raise your animals, and work your way through nearly 200 recipes across the farming and food mods bundled in.

The Home You Shape

35 ways to cut one plank. 6,981 chipped blocks in total. Whatever your build style, there is a block for it.

The Cellar and the Kettle

177 things to pour. Barrels, kegs, and brewing stations full of drinks, broths, and specialty pours to sip or sell.

Good Company

100+ plushies to find. Collect plushies of mobs, YouTubers, and community members scattered through the world.

Catch of the Day

33 fish in these waters, 12 tiers of crates to haul up.

6 packs to grow into: Leather, Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite.

57 upgrades to slot in for stacking, filtering, pickup, magnet, cooking, and more.

37 ways to keep it all across storage drawers, inventory connectors, storage terminals, and the rest of the Sophisticated Storage lineup.

Forged Fables

A full gear progression that goes beyond Netherite.

Diamond → Obsidian (9 pieces): add an Obsidian Ingot to your diamond gear with an Obsidian Upgrade Smithing Template.

Obsidian gets 3 extra pieces beyond the usual kit: Horse Armor, Nautilus Armor, and a Spear.

Obsidian → Netherite (9 pieces): add a Netherite Ingot with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template.

Past Netherite: 4 more Netherite tiers above it (Iron, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, 9 pieces each) and 8 Mythic Gem kits off the side (Ruby, Topaz, Peridot, Sapphire, Jade, Aquamarine, Ametrine, Citrine, 72 more pieces).

The Whispers of the Wilds

Automated windmills, hand-built structures, and the full farm-life questline. It's farming time.

Built-in Shaders

Three looks ship enabled out of the box: Dawn, Day, Night.

How You Start

1. Pick your launcher. Install through the CurseForge, Prism, or Modrinth launcher. Minecraft 1.20.1 on Fabric.

2. Set the memory. Give it 6-8GB of memory. Stay within 6-10GB; more than that can hurt instead of help.

3. Open the quest book. Start a world and open the quest book. The First Sprout chapter walks you in.

4. Server and shaders. Running a server? There is a dedicated Server Pack ready to download. Shaders come preloaded; turn them off in Video Settings if you need the frames.
