Luminol Republic Shader is now archived. v3.0.0 is the final version.

When I started this, I just wanted a shader that felt cozy and looked good on weak devices, including the iPad I play on myself. I never expected it to pass 2,000 downloads. Every one of you who installed it, tried it and kept it made this project worth working on.

Thank you to:

  • Everyone who downloaded, rated or followed Luminol Republic.
  • Everyone who sent feedback, screenshots and bug reports. They made it better with every version.
  • The Iris and Sodium developers, whose work makes shaders possible at all.
  • The players on low-end devices who proved that great-looking shaders don't need a monster PC.

What it grew into

From a small potato-friendly pack into a full shader with:

  • Vanilla and Realistic Clouds.
  • Aurora, moon and Midnight Moment.
  • Weather, puddle reflections and glowing ores.
  • A Realistic lighting style.
  • Nine profiles, from Potato to Realistic and Screenshot Mode.

What happens now
