NeoFullbright keeps caves, underground builds and nighttime adventures bright, while keeping Minecraft's textures, text and interface familiar.

Enable the pack and enjoy clear visibility wherever you explore. No commands or mods are needed on supported vanilla versions.

Early Access

Installation

  1. Download the .zip matching your Minecraft version.
  2. Keep it zipped and place it in:
.minecraft/resourcepacks
  1. Open Options → Resource Packs.
  2. Enable NeoFullbright and place it above packs that change lighting.

Using Xray too? Enable the matching NeoXray pack. Their HUDs are prepared to work together in either order.

Compatibility

  • Minecraft 1.8–26.3, plus 26.4 snapshots 1–6 — choose the matching download.
  • 1.17 and newer: vanilla lighting support, with no mod required.
  • 1.8–1.16.5: requires OptiFine or compatible custom-lightmap support; no HUD.
  • Sodium and VulkanMod: support depends on the Minecraft version and renderer.
  • External shaders and custom renderers can replace the pack's lighting.

The original trailer may show an earlier release. Compatibility across every version and renderer has not been tested in game.
