SimpleVoice-Geyser

  • Simple Voice Geyser is a Bukkit plugin that lets Bedrock players on Geyser servers use Simple Voice Chat, even though they can’t install client-side mods.

  • It’s made for servers that want both Java and Bedrock players to be able to use proximity voice chat with no extra setup for players.

Main Features:

  • Connect to SimpleVoiceChat using a website, rather than discord or in-game mods.
    • Both Java and Bedrock players.
  • Smart Detection: Can block only java players from website vc.
  • No mods: This is a work-around, so clients need no mods to function.
  • Simple to install: drop and play for LAN servers.
  • 3D audio: Website users experiance full Audio experiance.
  • UI:
    • Out-of-box editable UI to customize your player's experiance on your server.

Setup:

  1. Download for platform
  2. Put inside plugins/mods folder.
  3. Run server

Integrations

Requirements

  1. A Minecraft Sever: Bukkit or Fabric based server
  2. GeyserMC (optional)
  3. Floodgate (optional)
  4. LuckPerms (optional, only for fabric)
  5. Simple Voice Chat 2.6.0 or later

Notes:

  • This is not a drop-in for Simple Voice Chat, it works alongside it.
  • ⚠️ Important: Client -> Server Audio is not encoded:
    • To ensure Security, when using this over WAN (multiple networks), run behind a proxy to encrypt the connection. (http secure instead of http)

This project is being developed and open to feedback, issues, and contributions. It is still in its Dev stage.
